NOT IN A DAY

Genesis 27:35,37

But Isaac said, “Your brother was here, and he tricked me. He has taken away your blessing.”

Isaac said to Esau, “I have made Jacob your master and have declared that all his brothers will be his servants. I have guaranteed him an abundance of grain and wine—what is left for me to give you, my son?”

Everything does not just crumble in a day, it is an aggregation of so many events or happenings.

Esau had already prepared himself for downfall. He was making all the wrong decisions.

He sold his birthright. He went further to marry strange women.

It was a slow fade!

Most troubles we face are an accumulation of little errs we commit as we journey. The sum up to bring about a pending disaster. We must be careful as believers not to fall into this trap.

Let everyday be a day of commitment. Don't give in to the temptations, don't shove it off as "it doesn't matter", for it won't be long before it becomes a subject matter.

Remember all these records in scriptures are written to prevent us from making the same mistakes:

2 Timothy 3:16-17

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

Instead of accumulating errs we could accumulate good steps and decisions that will cumulatively bring us into great exploits.

May we continue to allow God's Spirit lead us day after day that we may not err.

Help us Good Lord.

He calls us blessed.

Love
