TURNED TO GOOD

Genesis 12:13,16,20

So please tell them you are my sister. Then they will spare my life and treat me well because of their interest in you.”

Then Pharaoh gave Abram many gifts because of her—sheep, goats, cattle, male and female donkeys, male and female servants, and camels.

Pharaoh ordered some of his men to escort them, and he sent Abram out of the country, along with his wife and all his possessions.

Famine drove Abram out of Canaan to Egypt to dwell as a foreigner.

Listen, that you got to that destination, does not mean there will be no challenges. It is only when we arrive in the eternal destination that all difficulties are deleted. Selah

That you got that admission and started studying is a success, that does not mean you will not face some hurdles.

That you graduated and celebrated does not mean you will not face challenges in getting a job or starting a business.

The search for a life partner, may make you desperate or worried.

When you eventually get married challenges will arise, it could even be delay in childbirth, financial constraints or inlaw conflicts.

When you get that job or business, challenges will surely arise.

When those children come a new challenge arises, a real great task to bring them up.

That promotion or expansion in business will come with it's own challenges.

Yes, every phase you move in life comes with it's challenges. However, your trust in God will make Him turn everything for your good.

Romans 8:28

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Abram ran to Egypt because of famine, he faced the threat to his life because of the extreme beauty of his wife Sarah. He had to introduce her as his sister, which was not a complete truth. He eventually left Egypt a wealthy man!

That difficult situation will become a victory for you.

This will continually be our song:

Psalms 30:11-12

You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing.

You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy,

that I might sing praises to you and not be silent.

O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever!

Remember, your disposition should be that of victory, for Christ has given us victory by default.

He calls us blessed.

Love
