BRING THEM ALL TO THE LORD

Genesis 17:24,26-27

Abraham was ninety-nine years old when he was circumcised,

Both Abraham and his son, Ishmael, were circumcised on that same day,

along with all the other men and boys of the household, whether they were born there or bought as servants. All were circumcised with him.

We learnt yesterday of the new covenant, the circumcision of the heart, the new birth. Christ was the fulfilment of this.

When we read circumcision from the old testament we keep in mind that we are relating with the new birth.

It is important that every Father, brother or leader, keep his household under the circumcision. Abraham was instructed by God to circumcise every male in his house.

The circumcision we have in Christ neither knows gender or race, there is no restrictions. (You know male circumcision is medically okay and beneficial to males, but for females it is not!) The Lord is far above medicine or science.

So mothers and sisters wake up to the responsibility, keep everyone in the household in the Lord. Do your part!

Galatians 3:26-29

For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes.

There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.

And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.

As a father or leader it is your duty to bring everyone under your care under the Lord's protection. Definitely there may be some who will rebel, yet still do your part. For even Christ had one rebel.

John 17:12

During my time here, I protected them by the power of the name you gave me. I guarded them so that not one was lost, except the one headed for destruction, as the Scriptures foretold.

Bring them all to the Lord.

Truly, it is not easy with all the pressure and demands in the world, yet we must do our part.

So help us Good Lord.

He calls us blessed.

Love
