KNOW YOUR BOUNDARIES
Genesis 2:15-17
The Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it.
But the Lord God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden—
except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.”
Everything has it's exceptions, it is good to always know where the boundary is.
The question some used to ask is, "Why did God put that tree in the garden?".
When you think of it deeply you will understand. I used to give this illustration as an example. The source of power to the house is electricity, when handled wrongly it could become a hazard. Going ahead to play with the fuse box when it is marked a "no access" is one's own decision to get into trouble.
We cannot give excuses for temptation, we are to avoid and overcome it.
Listen, your eyes, emotions and ego must be put into check, never make the error of thinking that you can live carelessly.
Proverbs 22:3
A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions.
The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.
You know a failed government from their continual presentation of excuses instead of getting to work. So is everyone who does same in any area of their lives.
Excuses is the enabler of failure!
Can we let go of all the distractions and concentrate on what is important. Work within your boundaries.
Listen just like Adam had innumerable resources at his disposal, our jurisdiction is indeed large, our distraction is just a tip in the multitude of abundance.
May we walk in wisdom.
Help us Good Lord.
He calls us blessed.
Love
