BRINGING IT OUT

Genesis 4:10

But the Lord said, “What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground!

The way we respond to situations is what defines our true character or nature.

A proverb says that when the storm blows, the backside of a chicken is exposed. This is interpreted as - challenges brings out the hidden character of a person.

Cain's evil nature was made plain when he killed his brother. Remember that the Lord warned him:

Genesis 4:7

You will be accepted if you do what is right. But if you refuse to do what is right, then watch out! Sin is crouching at the door, eager to control you. But you must subdue it and be its master.”

Everyone of us must prove our inner nature and the storms of life will be the test. Do we submit to God's nature or to the flesh, which is corrupted.

Galatians 5:16

So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.

For you walk in the Spirit even when it seems there is nothing to worry about so that when the challenges do come, you are already prepared.

Don't forget:

Galatians 5:19-23

When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures,

idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division,

envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

For Christ said:

Matthew 15:19-20

For from the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, all sexual immorality, theft, lying, and slander.

These are what defile you. Eating with unwashed hands will never defile you.”

Also,

Proverbs 4:23

Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.

We must be careful, we must feed our heart the right things, we must be ready.

WE MUST BRING OUT THE RIGHT THING!

Help us Good Lord.

He calls us blessed.

Love
