THE ONE TRUE GOD!

Psalms 96:4-5

Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! 

He is to be feared above all gods.

The gods of other nations are mere idols, but the Lord made the heavens!

The confusion of religion is the reference to different discription of the diety they portray, one says this, another says that, but there can only be one God.

Before Christ was revealed, we had just two divides, the Jews who worshipped the Almighty God and the Gentiles, who worshipped idols.

Today, we have different religions and then within the religions, denominations all claiming to serve the Almighty God!

What is the problem? Does the Almighty have different standards or salvation for different people? The answer should be, NO!

So, who serves the one true God, the Almighty?

Of all books written only one has the record from different authors saying the same thing, pointing to the one true God. This is the scriptures, (the Torah with the records of Christ's life and letters of His apostles). The only one that does this. Let us look at the scriptures:

Deuteronomy 19:15b

The facts of the case must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

2 Corinthians 13:1b

 “The facts of every case must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses”.

All religions are the testimony of one man, and many of them have been twisted because the very person who was claimed to be the bearer had no record of what he/she bore neither live witnesses to whatever it is they bore.

For, truly if you searched deeply you see that many are just a copy of the true scriptures and fabrication of scholars and cunning men.

The bible which we have today is yet the complete record from different sources of the one true God, the Almighty, - the scriptures.

Above all, the message of the Heavenly Father is not just what is said or hearsay, God is real thus, when you come to Him He reveals Himself to you. That is you hear His truth and He goes further to reveal Himself to You by coming to dwell in You by His Spirit.

This only began when He revealed Himself by His Word.

John 1:1-4,12

In the beginning the Word already existed. 

The Word was with God, and the Word was God.

He existed in the beginning with God.

God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him.

The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone.

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.

Isaiah 44:3

For I will pour out water to quench your thirst and to irrigate your parched fields. 

And I will pour out my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing on your children.

Ezekiel 36:26-27

And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.

And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.

The revelation of the Son of God revealed the one true God to the whole world. Not just that, but He also brought about the salvation of everyone who believed and walked in obedience.

Isaiah 9:6

For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. 

The government will rest on his shoulders. 

And he will be called: 

Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, 

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

John 3:16-17

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.

The one true God was revealed to the whole world and of course there is no other. The power, the miracles, the word, the death, resurrection and the release of the power of the Holy Spirit were not things done in secrets but evident for all to see.

So, why will anyone walk in darkness when light has been revealed. God is real and He reveals Himself to anyone who comes to Him.

It is not just about following laws and doctrines but about a relationship.

Revelation 3:20

“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.

We could never have known God except Christ revealed Him:

John 1:18

No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.

Matthew 11:27

“My Father has entrusted everything to me. No one truly knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

So, do you know the true God or just follow a religion?

Revelation 3:20

Glory to God who revealed Himself to us through His Son Jesus Christ and dwells in us by His Spirit.

He calls us blessed.
