OMNISCIENT

Proverbs 16:1,33

We can make our own plans, but the Lord gives the right answer.

We may throw the dice, but the Lord determines how they fall.

An employee in a very large organization may have very good management, yet they could wonder why certain decisions are made or certain steps are not taken.

If that employee was bold enough or close enough to ask, they would be surprised at the reasons why the management took certain decisions.

One major reason is the information available to them which the employee is not privy to. It could be as a result of certain events or activities of some employees, a new directive from the authorities, a change of government policies, a financial implicating decision or even a legal/policy mandate.

The same way we may wonder why God allowed this or that to be or why He did not allow something else to be. Do we know as much?

Paul said:

1 Corinthians 13:9

Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture!

No human really knows it all, for even when Christ who was from the bosom of the Father was here He said:

Matthew 24:36

“However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.

So, before you go worrying or crying foul, know that the Lord sees and knows what you don't. His thoughts towards us are for good.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Our God is Omniscient, He knows all and He has our best interest at heart.

Does this mean we cannot ask, or cannot give an opinion. No, the Lord is our loving Father, if you are born of Christ He will treat you like His child, He wants to hear from you.

Even when Israel was lost in sin He told them:

Isaiah 1:18

“Come now, let’s settle this,” says the Lord.

“Though your sins are like scarlet,

I will make them as white as snow.

Though they are red like crimson,

I will make them as white as wool.

The Heavenly Father never drives His own away, He always says "come".

Don't let things overwhelm you come to the Heavenly Father in Christ Jesus and find peace. When He says wait, please wait, it is always for our good.

What a loving Father we have.

May we make the most of this love.

He calls us blessed.

Love
