Proverbs 20:7

The godly walk with integrity; blessed are their children who follow them.


What are we expecting from the next generation? Is it a good version of what we have now, or are we afraid that it will be a bad version.


We have work to do.


God said that the reason He chose Abraham was because He wanted him to teach his children His ways:


Genesis 18:18-19

“For Abraham will certainly become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed through him.

I have singled him out so that he will direct his sons and their families to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just. Then I will do for Abraham all that I have promised.”


We all have a responsibility to the coming generation, as a parent, teacher, relation, neighbour, adult or whatever way we place ourselves. No one is exempted.

The best way is by being a good example.


Jesus said:


Mark 9:42“

But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone hung around your neck.


So, what are you doing about it?


Listen, it is either you are leading them aright, or astray, they are always watching. Selah


Proverbs 29:17

Discipline your children, and they will give you peace of mind and will make your heart glad.


May we be counted among those who influenced the next generation positively.


Help us good Lord.


He calls us blessed.

Remember: God is in control.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out.
