WHEN THE WORD COMES

1Kings 17:2

 Then the word of the LORD came to him, saying,


A lot of things could get us worried, the situation of the country, state of health of ourselves or loved ones, government policies, pandemics, economic challenges, the list continues.


However, when the Lord intervenes in that situation the story changes because when the word of the Lord comes, every other News is secondary. All mouths are shut, protocols are removed. It just happens!


Lamentations 3:37

Who can command things to happen without the Lord’s permission?


I am not talking of empty promises or stirring motivationals to make us drop money or feel happy. Anyone can just come up with these things. I am talking of when the Lord really speaks - "thus says the Lord"!


The only way to hear is when you are tuned to the Lord's frequency.


There is a lot of noise in our world today, but our station must be tuned to the right channel. We must receive God's frequency "His Son" through "His Spirit"


Hebrews 1:2

 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;


John 14:17

 "even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.


Romans 4:17b

  in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;


There is nothing like hearing from God be it through:


* prayers

* His word

* worship

* his prophet(all believers can be prophets)

* in your spirit

* the unexpected little ones


If we are confident and hold on to what He says, all other "says" will not matter. He is the God that overrules!


Daniel 2:21 

And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:


That situation will change or adjust to fulfill God's word


Have we been listening to God?


At those times your feelings would not help you, you have to reach beyond your feelings to hold on to what God has said. The word will shut every other noise down.


As you continue to practice it becomes part of you and you can soar.


Glory to God forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

Remember: God is in control.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out. Please don't give up, God is still in control Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
