WHAT THE LORD DID

Psalms 65:2,5

for you answer our prayers. All of us must come to you.

You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds, O God our savior. 

You are the hope of everyone on earth, even those who sail on distant seas.

You know that the whole world has to answer to the Heavenly Father, no matter how far anyone tries to run from the creator, they will yet return to Him.

Psalms 139:7-8,12

I can never escape from your Spirit! 

I can never get away from your presence!

If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there.

but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. 

To you the night shines as bright as day. 

Darkness and light are the same to you.

You can do all the analogies, study all the books, follow all the sects, analyze this or that, in the end it all comes to the same thing, we return to the creator to give account and receive our final verdict. We can never hide from God.

He accomplishes this in Christ Jesus:

John 5:21-23

For just as the Father gives life to those he raises from the dead, so the Son gives life to anyone he wants.

In addition, the Father judges no one. Instead, he has given the Son absolute authority to judge,

so that everyone will honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son is certainly not honoring the Father who sent him.

Colossians 1:19-20

For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself. 

He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.

All these God accomplished in Christ Jesus!

The prophesies and revelations are all over the old testament.

No one has an excuse.

Psalms 65:3-4

Though we are overwhelmed by our sins, you forgive them all.

What joy for those you choose to bring near, those who live in your holy courts. 

What festivities await us inside your holy Temple.

Psalms 2:12

Submit to God’s royal son, or he will become angry, and you will be destroyed in the midst of all your activities— for his anger flares up in an instant. 

But what joy for all who take refuge in him!

Isaiah 7:14

All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’).

There is no wisdom in running away from or rejecting the one you will yet account to.

God has worked out our salvation, He has forgiven us our sins, He has done it, it is only for us to accept and align to Him.

Titus 2:11-14

For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people.

And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God, while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.

He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds.

What more do we want from the Lord?

He has done it all, suffered the pain, paid the price by sacrificing Himself, what else do we want. What is keeping us away?

Help us Good Lord, may we enjoy the full benefits of Your salvation both now and in the world to come.

He calls us blessed.
