THE KINGDOM OF GOD (The Multiplying Effect)

Matthew 13:31-32

Here is another illustration Jesus used: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed planted in a field.

It is the smallest of all seeds, but it becomes the largest of garden plants; it grows into a tree, and birds come and make nests in its branches.”

If you understand how God works, you will understand the multiplying effect.

Genesis 1:28

Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply.

We see that God created one, then expected the one to multiply.

God's kingdom is all about multiplying.

John 15:2b

and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.

If you are not multiplying - bearing fruit, the consequence is being cut off:

John 15:2a

He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit

Look at another parable of Christ:

Matthew 25:14,19,29

“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven can be illustrated by the story of a man going on a long trip. He called together his servants and entrusted his money to them while he was gone.

“After a long time their master returned from his trip and called them to give an account of how they had used his money.

To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away.

You have no business in God's kingdom if you are not fruitful. It is the business of bearing fruit of making profit.

That is why I am Not happy with some orthodox who bind their congregation as stagnant church goers, they may be busy but they are definitely not about the Father's business.

1 Corinthians 3:12-15

Anyone who builds on that foundation may use a variety of materials—gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay, or straw.

But on the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person’s work has any value.

If the work survives, that builder will receive a reward.

But if the work is burned up, the builder will suffer great loss. The builder will be saved, but like someone barely escaping through a wall of flames.

Now imagine what will happen if one did not work at all!

We must be fruitful as believers we must multiply, this is why we work.

Everything God made, was made to be fruitful and to multiply by bearing fruit.

Help us Good Lord to remain fruitful and multiply. Dear Heavenly Father we will be fruitful in Your kingdom business, we know You will make us fruitful in all good things.

He calls us blessed.
