THE FOUNDATION MATTERS

Proverbs 12:1-3

To learn, you must love discipline; it is stupid to hate correction.

The LORD approves of those who are good, but he condemns those who plan wickedness.

Wickedness never brings stability, but the godly have deep roots.

The key to grow, develop and remain in wisdom is to love discipline.

See, a child that has not been brought up in discipline will be attracted to the wrongs things, if they have fear it will be an unhealthy one for they have not been taught true restrain.

Any society that promotes the false sense of liberty where discipline is expunged is building a generation of anarchy.

Proverbs 13:24

Those who spare the rod of discipline hate their children. Those who love their children care enough to discipline them.

It begins from the roots then eats into the society.

We have a community that praises people who kill, steal, loot, create gangs/touts, pervert justice and do all sorts of frivolous things - giving excuses for them. They then cry and wail that they are suffering.

The truth is that you reap what you sow - the scriptures is very clear:

Proverbs 29:2

When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice.

But when the wicked are in power, they groan.

What do you expect when people who have questionable characters rule you. When people who have cases of wrong doings to account for are the ones who make your laws. It is a pending disaster!

It is true that the Lord is the one that lifts up one and brings down another. However He will not force anyone to lead a people. For when He did in time past they will say "this woman you gave me", " this king you set over us", etc

Listen to what God said through Hosea:

Hosea 8:4

The people have appointed kings without my consent, and princes without my approval.

By making idols for themselves from their silver and gold, they have brought about their own destruction.

A society where people can be bought with money to vote in evil people to reign, how then can we go back to pray asking God to give us Good leaders: Who is fooling who?

A society where money is the respected word. People close their eyes to evil instead they mock those who do good. The truth is rejected instead things like racism, tribalism, religious bigotry, hypocrisy and other forms of sentiments are projected.

Do not walk in the path of unrighteous and expect the Righteous God to walk with you. Stop the disrespect.

You backstab others and you feel you will go scot-free, No you won't!

Ecclesiastes 10:8

When you dig a well, you might fall in.

When you demolish an old wall, you could be bitten by a snake.

Think, think, think how long do we continue in this foolery, how long do we think the foundation will hold when it is built with the wrong materials - when do we stop deceiving ourselves?

Luke 6:48-49

It is like a person building a house who digs deep and lays the foundation on solid rock. When the floodwaters rise and break against that house, it stands firm because it is well built.

But anyone who hears and doesn’t obey is like a person who builds a house without a foundation. When the floods sweep down against that house, it will collapse into a heap of ruins.”

God has already helped us, it is only that some have rejected Him to chose hypocrisy and deceit.

Deliver us O Lord.

Have mercy on us.

You call Your children blessed.

Love
