REMEMBER HOW GOD SEES IT
Luke 21:1-4
While Jesus was in the Temple, he watched the rich people dropping their gifts in the collection box.
Then a poor widow came by and dropped in two small coins.
“I tell you the truth,” Jesus said, “this poor widow has given more than all the rest of them.
For they have given a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she has.”
Remember that when you do it, the Lord is interested in your motive, that is, the condition of your heart.
Seriously, I will prefer that my commendation come from the Heavenly Father to validate that of man, for as God told Samuel of old:
1 Samuel 16:7
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
You could deceive or compel people by your outward show but the Lord looks at your heart, you cannot deceive Him.
As simple as the above statement is and as obvious as it is, some still live as if they could do otherwise. No one can.
1 Corinthians 3:19-20
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. As the Scriptures say,
“He traps the wise
in the snare of their own cleverness.”
And again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise; he knows they are worthless.”
I will not think if walking with the Heavenly Father trying to be smart, I will walk as the child that I am. He is the loving Father, He gives me audience and I please Him.
May human relevance not make me jeopardize my relationship with the Heavenly Father.
So help us Good Lord.
He calls us blessed.
Love
