PRAISE THE LORD

Psalms 135:1-3

Praise the Lord!

Praise the name of the lord!

Praise him, you who serve the Lord, you who serve in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God.

Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good; celebrate his lovely name with music.

There are ways to stay connected with the Lord, traditionally there is prayer, meditation on the word and worshipping with music/songs.

Ephesians 5:19

singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts.

When we sing, the lyrics and the melody matter, for we make good sounds and speak the word to make good music to worship God. In doing this we automatically connect to the Father and are lifted up.

Psalm 47:7

For God [is] the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

See, challenges and problems are weakened by true worship:

Hebrews 13:15

Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name.

The higher dimension of praise goes beyond us praising but causing others by our good actions to praise God!

Hebrews 13:16

And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God.

When you see your mind wandering or getting worried,  begin to sing God's praises from the inside in understanding and also in tongues (if you can?)

So praise the Lord in your closet, with your family and with the brethren, remember that it is what you will always do.

Revelation 15:3-4

And they were singing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb:

“Great and marvelous are your works, O Lord God, the Almighty.

Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations.

Who will not fear you, Lord, and glorify your name?

For you alone are holy.

All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous deeds have been revealed.”

Praise ye the Lord, The Lord's name be praised.

He calls us blessed.

Love
