HE STILL HOLDS IT TOGETHER

Psalms 75:3

When the earth quakes and its people live in turmoil, I am the one who keeps its foundations firm.

At this time everyone who pays close attention will be aware of the seeming turmoils on the earth, from the pandemic that seems to have dwindled but you begin to hear of one arising here and there, strange ailments that disrupts the natural function of man and his activities. We look at wars and rumours of war, in most countries the economy seems to have crumbled though some are as a result of bad leaderships.

Yet in all of these, our verse says - the Lord still holds the foundations firm.

We must understand that these things are not really new, it has happened in years past and history do bear records, however we yet understand that it could be the sign that the end of all things is near.

However remember what scriptures says:

Jeremiah 6:14b

saying, Peace, peace; when [there is] no peace.

1 Thessalonians 5:2-3

For you know quite well that the day of the Lord’s return will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night.

When people are saying, “Everything is peaceful and secure,” then disaster will fall on them as suddenly as a pregnant woman’s labor pains begin. And there will be no escape.

It is not when everything is in chaos that indicates that the Heavenly Father will end all things it is actually when it seems all is going well and there is peace almost everywhere. Selah

Listen to Christ:

Matthew 24:4-8,37-39

Jesus told them, “Don’t let anyone mislead you,

for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many.

And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately.

Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world.

But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.

“When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day.

In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat.

People didn’t realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes.

So what should the believers be doing now?

Luke 12:40,42-46

You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.”

And the Lord replied, “A faithful, sensible servant is one to whom the master can give the responsibility of managing his other household servants and feeding them.

If the master returns and finds that the servant has done a good job, there will be a reward.

I tell you the truth, the master will put that servant in charge of all he owns.

But what if the servant thinks, ‘My master won’t be back for a while,’ and he begins beating the other servants, partying, and getting drunk?

The master will return unannounced and unexpected, and he will cut the servant in pieces and banish him with the unfaithful.

The Heavenly Father still holds all things in place and until He announces the end of all things, all things will not end!

Thus it is not time to loose faith or derail, it is time to put your trust more on Him, for the Heavenly Father still remains the author and keeper of His own.

Remember in the time of crises as recorded in scriptures, we see how God yet kept His own, from using Joseph to ensure that Israel had plenty in the time of global famine to feeding them through their journey through the wilderness.

The Lord just knows how to keep it all together even when all seems to be in chaos.

Remember:

Psalms 24:1

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.

The world and all its people belong to him.

So those that just sit around doing nothing, making no impact, showing no love, should remember that the moment one dies, their own end-time has happened. Our reward is yet tied to what we have done while we are here, thus as Christ says in our parable, let the Lord meet us doing our work.

Glory to the One who holds all things together. Our Heavenly Father who holds all things together in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Colossians 1:15-17

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.

He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth.

He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—

such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world.

Everything was created through him and for him.

He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together.

Are you holding on to the right anchor.

Don't get tired of praying, don't get tired of worshipping, don't get tired of doing the right things, stay on it, it is your new nature, your call, you will always win. The Lord has your record. You will not be overwhelmed instead you will win.

Glory to Christ through whom God holds all things together.

He calls us blessed.

Love
