GOOD GOOD FATHER

Matthew 7:9-11

“You parents—if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead?

Or if they ask for a fish, do you give them a snake? Of course not!

So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.

A true pastor, minister or elder would teach you to know the Heavenly Father as your Father. For what Christ came to do was to make us family.

John 1:12

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.

Religious leaders may not want to teach this truth and they alter it just to keep people under their control.

However Christ told us:

John 20:17b

 But go find my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

Christ, made us family.

You're a Good, Good Father

It's who I am, it's who I am, it's who I am

It is a song to be sung everyday to remind us that we are children of the Most High God, sons to a good Father.

In our opening verse He says He is the good Father, thus He will give us Good things when we ask. This is the only papacy, the only Fatherhood that every believer should seek for and hold on to, there is no other.

Let no one short change you.

Hebrews 4:16

So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

As a son you come boldly into your Father's chamber, you do not need an intermediary, Christ is already our intermediary and He is one with the Heavenly Father.

Learn from this parable of Christ:

Luke 15:18

I will go home to my father and say, “Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you,

Luke 15:18 

I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

Even when he had fallen he could yet walk back to his father, and ofcourse he met with open arms. Let no man take the place of the Heavenly Father in your life, it is another bondage.

Let no one stand in the way of you and your Heavenly Father, the veil has been torn, walk in liberty. Your relationship is with the Heavenly Father through His Son Christ Jesus "full stop".

Also remember that He will also chastise you as a child, be careful how you walk. He remains God!

Hebrews 12:8-10

If God doesn’t discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all.

Since we respected our earthly fathers who disciplined us, shouldn’t we submit even more to the discipline of the Father of our spirits, and live forever?

For our earthly fathers disciplined us for a few years, doing the best they knew how. But God’s discipline is always good for us, so that we might share in his holiness.

Have you come to sonship, have you accepted God's salvation which is only in Christ Jesus, then walk in sonship, if you have not, what are you waiting for?

We pray that all teachers, ministers, pastors and leaders will teach this truth continually.

He is a good, good Father. Glory to God forevermore.

He calls us blessed.
