DON'T DRAW BACK
Hebrews 10:39
But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.
Have you at anytime felt like giving up? What is the gain of all these disciplines, why don't I let it go, allow the flesh have it's way, let go of faith and just move on. (Not all burdens are from the Lord)
No, don't! instead get it right. Stick with the truth.
Listen, everyone must prove what or who they claim to be, that battle in your mind is also part of the test.
James 1:2-4
Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.
For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.
So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
For the things that try our faith, begins with our mind and also ends there. The other manifestations will yet rely on the mind for interpretation. We should yet hold on strong.
Just like you are examined to prove that you have a knowledge, it may not be easy, however when you have completed the exams and are successful, you are awarded a certificate and recognized.
You don't give up!
Proverbs 24:10
If you fail under pressure, your strength is too small.
The Lord is not for those who draw back:
Luke 9:62
But Jesus told him, “Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God.”
So you are tired, unsure, having it difficult, what do you do?
Fall into His arms!
There is nothing like a sincere heart.
Mark 9:24
The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!”
You are never too old or matured to fall into His arms or cry like a baby in the arms of your Heavenly Father. I do!
So, who have you believed, the Lord God or someone taking His place.
Listen, we still have many who come in the name of the Lord, but as Jesus said:
Matthew 23:4
They crush people with unbearable religious demands and never lift a finger to ease the burden.
Matthew 23:4 (KJV)
For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay [them] on men's shoulders; but they [themselves] will not move them with one of their fingers.
This is in contrast to what Christ promised:
Matthew 11:28-30
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
Are you carrying a strange burden?
It is time to offload and pick the one Christ offers.
Don't draw back, come in.
Help us Good Lord.
He calls us blessed.
Love
