THE LIBERTY THAT CHRIST BRINGS

John 5:24

“I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.

These are the very words of Christ, yet when Paul emphasized it, some become sceptic. You know our attachment to sin makes us belittle or doubt the liberation power of Christ.

Listen, you doubt or skeptism even your presumed correctness, legality or religion, CANNOT negate what Christ has done.

John 8:36

So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.

No power, no force, no law, no person, no being can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus:

Romans 8:38-39

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.

No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The heavens rejoiced at the revelation of Christ, everything stopped at it, it was a great quiet and then celebration, yet the earth had no clue what was going on.

It is the same way we make a lot of noise down here, hailing and praising human titles in the name of religions and even in the secular space, yet they are not recognized in heaven. Hmm

I keep repeating these words of Christ:

John 4:23-24,26

But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.

For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”

Then Jesus told her, “I am the Messiah!”

As simple as these words are, many are yet to get it, they are still trapped in religion, human worship, sentimentality or have given up altogether.

The noise, activities and various events in the world could make us unconscious for a moment but we must never let it take our mind away from the truth.

This is why Paul admonished:

Romans 12:1-2,21

And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.

Thus Christ has set us free, we must not go into bondage again. Not by sin, fear, religions, laws or any other thing.

If only I can explain further how important this is!

It is as simple as this:

John 1:12-13,17-18

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.

They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.

For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ.

No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.

Are you liberated by Christ to really become a member of God's own family, or are you still in the bondage of sin and man-made religions (The Heavenly Father has no religion!)?

When you come together to fellowship, is it what John explained:

1 John 1:3

We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

It cannot be anything else!

We must enjoy the liberty that Christ has given us, no one, group, authority, world power or sect should take it away from us.

The Lord's will be done.

Glory to God forevermore.

He calls us blessed.

Love
