REJOICE THE LORD IS KING!
Psalms 107:2
Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy,
Charles Wesley wrote a hymn and the first verse goes thus:
"Rejoice, the Lord is King:
Your Lord and King adore!
Rejoice, give thanks and sing,
And triumph evermore.
Lift up your heart,
Lift up your voice!
Rejoice, again I say, rejoice!"
There was a song by Joan Osborne asking a question: "What if God was one of us . . ."
The person of the author of the universe looks all abstract till we see how beautiful everything is arranged and we are certain that the author is real and that He yet holds all things together. The question is how? The answer is through His Word by whom He made all things. For by whom He created all things He also holds all things together.
John 1:1-4
In the beginning the Word already existed.
The Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him.
The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone.
Colossians 1:15-17
Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.
He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth.
He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—
such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together.
(Why won't religious errs hate Paul and try all things even creating ficticious books to disapprove him, they will, because he exposes everything they hold onto as lies, for when the light shines, darkness cannot comprehend it. Selah)
In the old testament the people could not differentiate the workings of God and the acts of Satan, thus a lot of confusion. Even many religions today (some of them birthed from this same ignorance) have no clue who God is.
Listen:
John 1:14,18
So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.
No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.
When people accuse believers of rejecting or leaving the old testament or Torah, they have no clue what they are talking about. Those scriptures must be read without the veil, and Christ is the one that gives us the revelation of scriptures because the whole of scriptures testifies of Him.
John 5:39-40
“You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me!
Yet you refuse to come to me to receive this life.
The Father revealed the Son, that the Son may reveal the Father to the whole world. It is this knowledge that brings full victory.
Thus we can rejoice, we cannot be deceived by the enemy, religions, or world systems anymore, our liberty and victory is in Christ Jesus:
John 8:32
And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
However, just as Christ said, religious folks don't want to come to Him to receive life. They prefer to follow laws and regulations because it gives them power, being interpreters of laws they have a hold on people and remain relevant.
Listen to what Jesus said:
Matthew 23:13,15,23-26
“What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you shut the door of the Kingdom of Heaven in people’s faces. You won’t go in yourselves, and you don’t let others enter either.
“What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you cross land and sea to make one convert, and then you turn that person into twice the child of hell you yourselves are!
“What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are careful to tithe even the tiniest income from your herb gardens, but you ignore the more important aspects of the law—justice, mercy, and faith. You should tithe, yes, but do not neglect the more important things.
Blind guides! You strain your water so you won’t accidentally swallow a gnat, but you swallow a camel!
“What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are so careful to clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside you are filthy—full of greed and self-indulgence!
You blind Pharisee! First wash the inside of the cup and the dish, and then the outside will become clean, too.
The problem was not the law but that the purpose of the law was not achieved, but man had hijacked the law and placed themselves as God. Quick to condemn the common man but have preference when it comes to themselves or the elite, God is not so, the Heavenly Father is no respecter of persons.
So we rejoice for the Heavenly Father is not a man. He is God and no one can take His place.
Christ has revealed God's nature:
1 John 4:8
But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
God is love.
The evidence of God's love is superfluously shown in the sacrifice of Christ.
1 John 4:9-10
God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.
This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
So rejoice!
The love we have cannot be taken from us, no matter whoever wants to place his/herself as God, no one can take God's place. Our only mediator is God Himself in His Word/Son Christ Jesus:
1 Timothy 2:5
For,There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:34-35,37-39
Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.
Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?
No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.
No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Glory!
So, don't be afraid, let no one keep you in bondage, instead REJOICE THE LORD IS KING!
He is able to take care of all your needs and worries.
Glory to God forevermore.
All other things has fallen into place.
He calls us blessed.
Love
@the watcher.
