WALK IN RIGHTEOUSNESS

1 John 2:29

Since we know that Christ is righteous, we also know that all who do what is right are God’s children.

Christ came to this world, to fulfil the Father's will, that is to bring salvation to man.

John 4:32,34

But Jesus replied, “I have a kind of food you know nothing about.”

Then Jesus explained: “My nourishment comes from doing the will of God, who sent me, and from finishing his work.

John 5:30

I can do nothing on my own. I judge as God tells me. Therefore, my judgment is just, because I carry out the will of the one who sent me, not my own will.

In fulfilling this will, Christ walked in righteousness, in doing this He brought us into righteousness.

The whole victory was not for Himself but for us. He was already in glory, He was already in the Father, He left the Father to be with us, to save us. Yet man did not recognize it, those who ought to know refused to recognize Him

John 1:10-11

He came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him.

He came to his own people, and even they rejected him.

However, those who accept Him:

John 1:10-13

He came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him.

He came to his own people, and even they rejected him.

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.

They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.

These should be the consciousness of every believer, we have been reborn away from human passion or plan, we are born into God's plan. Glory to God.

So how do we live our life's? As Jesus did, in righteousness, fulfilling the will of the Father:

1 John 2:29

Since we know that Christ is righteous, we also know that all who do what is right are God’s children.

How do we do this? By remaining in fellowship with Christ. When we do this, we walk in righteousness and He will not deny us on the day of reckoning.

1 John 2:28

And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame.

Listen carefully, this is not about corporate gathering, it is talking of your personal relationship with Christ - know God for yourself. Thus, you will not be a stranger to Him when He returns.

Away from all the programs, activities, noise and human sensation of religion. REMAIN IN FELLOWSHIP WITH CHRIST.

Truly when two or three gather in Christ name He is there in their midst, however you must have your own relationship with Christ for these journey is first personal before we talk of a family or group.

2 Corinthians 5:9-10

So whether we are here in this body or away from this body, our goal is to please him.

For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body.

So, everyone who is of Christ must walk in righteousness just as He did. For Christ became our righteousness.

Luke 18:21-22

The man replied, “I’ve obeyed all these commandments since I was young.”

When Jesus heard his answer, he said, “There is still one thing you haven’t done. Sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

1Corinthians 1:30

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

Walk in righteousness.

This is why He died, He then arose to seal this victory, glory to God forever.

He calls us blessed.
