THE KEY TO SALVATION

1 John 2:22-23

And who is a liar? Anyone who says that Jesus is not the Christ. Anyone who denies the Father and the Son is an antichrist.

Anyone who denies the Son doesn’t have the Father, either. But anyone who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

You lose religions when you state the key of salvation. Religion is about practices, beliefs, man trying to reach out to God(a god).

However when it comes to salvation it is God reaching out to man. What man has to do is to believe, accept then walk in obedience.

Of course religion is about a faith, a belief, however what you believe is either truth or NOT the truth.

John 8:32

And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

All you believe right now is a collection of what you have been told, what you have read and of course what you have been compelled to accept, however it is important for you to experience it. That is, when it comes to the Heavenly Father who is Spirit, you must have an inner witness.

1 John 2:20

But you are not like that, for the Holy One has given you his Spirit, and all of you know the truth.

This is what religion doesn't want you to know and have, so that they can keep you in bondage.

This is what Jesus warned about the religious leaders:

Matthew 23:4-7

They crush people with unbearable religious demands and never lift a finger to ease the burden.

“Everything they do is for show. On their arms they wear extra wide prayer boxes with Scripture verses inside, and they wear robes with extra long tassels.

And they love to sit at the head table at banquets and in the seats of honor in the synagogues.

They love to receive respectful greetings as they walk in the marketplaces, and to be called ‘Rabbi.’

They use "God said", or this or that deity said, to keep people in perpetual bondage. Jesus said yes their morals may be good but be careful of the bondage. For as He explained to the Samaritan woman:

John 4:23-24,26

But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.

For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”

Then Jesus told her, “i am the Messiah!”

The key to salvation is the Son!

Listen there are three discussions when it comes to to salvation it circles around "the Father", "the Son" and "His Spirit". A sect coined it into "the trinity", that is human translation. However, the Heavenly Father is one.

Many have tried to explain it, illustrating man who God created. For man is of body, soul and spirit (Remember God made man in His image), there are other explanations to it, however Christ explained:

John 14:7,9-11,17

If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!”

Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you?

Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak are not my own, but my Father who lives in me does his work through me.

Just believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or at least believe because of the work you have seen me do.

He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you. - (who was with them?)

If you read this verses again and again, you will understand, what Christ was saying.

That is what John explains again. You cannot say you know the Heavenly Father without the Son, for denying the Son is denying the Father.

Matthew 11:26-29

Yes, Father, it pleased you to do it this way!

“My Father has entrusted everything to me. No one truly knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

It pleases the Heavenly Father to make salvation this way. You cannot dictate your salvation, what do you know? He holds the key and He has released the key to all. COME TO HIM TODAY!

Acts 4:12

There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”

This is the message from the beginning, when salvation came, that is after Christ resurrected and the Holy Spirit was sent to man. Don't miss the foundation, for whatever else you build on faulty foundation will crash:

1 John 2:24-25

So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will remain in fellowship with the Son and with the Father.

And in this fellowship we enjoy the eternal life he promised us.

These things give philosophers/intellectuals and religious people a hard time:

1 Corinthians 1:23,25,27-29

So when we preach that Christ was crucified, the Jews are offended and the Gentiles say it’s all nonsense.

This foolish plan of God is wiser than the wisest of human plans, and God’s weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength.

Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful.

God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important.

As a result, no one can ever boast in the presence of God.

So if we are to summarize: Christ is the key and the Holy Spirit is the password/seal by which we are of the Heavenly Father. This is the key to have eternal life.

John 3:16

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 8:16

For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.

The Lord give us more understanding.

He calls us blessed.
