HIS PROMISES: YOU AND YOUR HOME

Psalms 91:10

no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home.

We look into His promises in Psalm 91, we see the two promises in verse 10.

No evil will conquer you:

This is a promise the Lord gave to His own and the prophet Isaiah re-echoes it:

Isaiah 54:17

But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed.

You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you.

These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, the lord, have spoken!

Remember that the people who lived at the time of these promises saw the shadow of it, when Christ came He brought them to full fruition:

2 Corinthians 1:20

For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.

Colossians 2:17

For these rules are only shadows of the reality yet to come. And Christ himself is that reality.

Matthew 13:17

I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, but they didn’t see it. And they longed to hear what you hear, but they didn’t hear it.

So grab these promises in full faith for we came in the time of it's fulfilment.

The second part of Psalm 91:10, talks of protection in our home. No plaque shall come near thy dwelling place.

Another wonderful promise, declare daily over your home. Yes, these are troubled times but the Lord has us covered.

Glory to God in the Highest, how will I miss these blessings. I hold on to faith.

He calls us blessed.
