HIS PROMISES: TRAMPLE LIONS AND SERPENTS

Psalms 91:13

You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!

We of course know that the enemy has been described as two different animals from the time of creation - the serpent(dragon) and the lion(beast):

Genesis 3:1,15

The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?”

And I will cause hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. 

He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.”

Revelation 12:9

This great dragon—the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.

1 Peter 5:8

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

Yes, the enemy comes in this two ways to accomplish his purpose which is:

John 10:10a

The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. 

However, glory to God we have victory over him, his allies and angels. Jesus the Christ declared it. Don't forget all of God's promises are fulfilled in Christ Jesus:

2 Corinthians 1:20

For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.

Hello, religious people, sects and all types of dominations without Christ you have no clue who the Heavenly Father is:

Luke 10:21-24

At that same time Jesus was filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit, and he said, “O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever, and for revealing them to the childlike. Yes, Father, it pleased you to do it this way.

“My Father has entrusted everything to me. No one truly knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”

Then when they were alone, he turned to the disciples and said, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you have seen.

I tell you, many prophets and kings longed to see what you see, but they didn’t see it. And they longed to hear what you hear, but they didn’t hear it.”

Forget all the philosophers, scholars and all who claim this or that on earth, "religion is man-made". The Heavenly Father is simply revealed through His Son the Very Word. Halleluyah

So He then spoke concerning us:

Luke 10:19

Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you.

Glory to God. Further more He also declared concerning us:

Mark 16:16-18

Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned.

These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages.

They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”

So we have victory and dominion over demons and all powers of darkness, the lions and serpents of the evil world.

Of course there is a clause too. For those who have made demon hunting their ministry. Who have turned the Christian life into something else. Listen to Christ Jesus:

Luke 10:20

But don’t rejoice because evil spirits obey you; rejoice because your names are registered in heaven.”

Your attention should be more on the kingdom of heaven where you are registered and you are going to dwell after here. Live like who you are and where you belong. So that hatred, envy and other covered nature of the flesh will not take control of you.

Instead the nature of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-27.

Glory to the Heavenly Father forever.
