HIS PROMISES 2

Psalms 91:3

For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.

2 Corinthians 1:20

For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.

The promises of God which were prophesied by the prophets of old come alive in Christ Jesus. 

The coming of Christ was a full package!

Look at the two in the opening verses:

(1) I will rescue you from every trap: 

to be rescued implies that there is surely a trap, who sets this trap? - The enemy.

Understand that the enemy can be anyone at anytime. Selah

For Jesus at a point referred to Peter as Satan - at one instance:

Mark 8:33

Jesus turned around and looked at his disciples, then reprimanded Peter. “Get away from me, Satan!” he said. “You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.”

Anyone could be an instrument in the hand of the enemy because the tactics of the enemy is to bring suggestions:

1 Peter 5:8

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

So be careful, be alert in the spirit, for that person you call friend or even relation could be an influence at an instance of time ("shine your eye").

This is why I emphasize all the time of your one-on-one relationship with the Heavenly Father. If you know the tons of lies that has been sold to the people on the earth all in the name of religion or sects. Lord have mercy!

(2.) Protect you from deadly diseases

We of course can attest of the deadly diseases that come from here and there, the Lord has already promised to protect us and heal us of them.

Christ paid the price for our healing:

Isaiah 53:5

But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. 

He was beaten so we could be whole. 

He was whipped so we could be healed.

1 Peter 2:24b

By his wounds you are healed.

So dear believer you have the right to healing, fully paid for by your saviour.

. . . It is thus gullibility to pay someone money for spiritual healing . .  . Selah (Don't be a spiritual fool!).

The promises are so much in scriptures and Christ fulfilled them all. Beloved of the Lord instead of chasing breakthrough, healings, miracles here and there, why not spend time with the one who has already done all these for you. (Wise up believer).

 Matthew 11:28-30

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

Come to Christ today, let all the Heavenly Father's promises be yes and amen for you.

The great thing about it, is that it covers you for this life and the life after.

Luke 18:30

will be repaid many times over in this life, and will have eternal life in the world to come.”

Glory to God in the highest.

He calls us blessed.
