THOSE LITTLE THINGS

This beautiful day let us remind ourselves NOT to neglect those little things that make up the whole.

Philippians 4:8

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things.

The things that matter in this life are a collection of little things we do that really do matter. Putting them all together builds up the glorious work we have or the great person we become.

A great rock can be brought down by continually chopping off small pieces. Same way a great house is built by adding on little bricks.

Let us not drop those "little things"

* discipline

* good routines

* prayers

* efforts

* readings

* prayers

* study of the word

* worship

* show of love

* encouragement

* planning

* investments

* sowing/planting

* advice

* counselling

* givings

* teaching

* tongues

* prophesying

* meditation

* fasting

* patience

* sufferings

* retreat . . .

   and so on

they add up to make the bigger success we achieve.

Job 8:7

Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly.

Isaiah 60:22

A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation. I, the LORD, will hasten it in its time."

Galatians 6:9

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

For most people end up doing nothing because they are waiting for that big opportunity, or that supernatural. No believer, it is all the little things you do daily that add up to that great thing.

Revelation 20:12

I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God’s throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books.

(N/B: The most important book is in verse 15)

See, there are special programmes where there is teaching, retreat or time out to refresh, truly miracles and great revelations is a must, it is just how it is because the Lord said He is in our midst, however all those jumbo crusades where someone tells you who is already a believer to come to receive miracles, financial breakthrough, children, money, great job, visa etc. Hello! Crusades are for unbelievers to return to Christ, when miracles are permitted by the Heavenly Father there, it is for those who do not believe to see and believe. GROW UP!

Remember what Christ told Thomas:

John 20:29

Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”

So stop the charade, stop the going round in circles, let people stop pushing you here and there. When the Lord is right there with You.

John 17:3

And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.

John 16:23-24

At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name.

You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.

(IF YOU ARE A BELIEVER YOU HAVE DIRECT ACCESS TO THE HEAVENLY FATHER!)

LISTEN:

John 14:17

He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.

Understand believer, He lives in You!

By the power of Jesus the Christ we will not get tired, we will be fervent in season and out of season.

The Holy Spirit will take over us and we will show forth God's glory.

We will keep moving forward.

He calls us blessed.
