THE REAL THING

1 Kings 19:10,18

Elijah replied, “I have zealously served the Lord God Almighty. But the people of Israel have broken their covenant with you, torn down your altars, and killed every one of your prophets. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me, too.”

Yet I will preserve 7,000 others in Israel who have never bowed down to Baal or kissed him!”

We live in the times when a lot of counterfeits, deceits and make believes, flood every part of our communities all in the name of the Lord. As the Lord brought numbers into the faith at the beginning of the mission of Christ's apostles so also rising alongside were counterfeits: (Matthew 12:24-30)

Matthew 24:10-12

And many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other.

And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people.

Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold.

The above words of Christ is the situation all around the globe, we have motivational speakers, manipulators(witchcraft), sorcerers (fake and diabolic displays in the name of miracles), and one common denominator crowns them all the mad rush for money, fame and relevance.

This was the way Elijah saw the situation in his time:

" . . . I am the only one left . . ."

No! God's reply to Him ended with:

"  . . . I have preserved 7,000 others . . . "

There is always a reminant. So many true believers and ministers are yet ministering today.

Listen, there is always a warning before the falling away. Selah

From the very beginning Adam was warned about the forbidden fruit.

Cain was warned about sin croaching at his door!

The list goes on to even Judas being warned of his betrayal and it continues till today.

How many listen to the warnings and take action? How many hear the danger alarm and take flight?

Someone will ask, how do we know, what is the signal?

It is still the same old signal:

Hosea 4:1,4,6

Hear the word of the Lord, O people of Israel! 

The Lord has brought charges against you, saying: 

“There is no faithfulness, no kindness, no knowledge of God in your land.

“Don’t point your finger at someone else and try to pass the blame! 

My complaint, you priests, is with you.

My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me. 

Since you priests refuse to know me, I refuse to recognize you as my priests. 

Since you have forgotten the laws of your God, I will forget to bless your children.

Today every believer has been called into priesthood:

1 Peter 2:9-10

But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

“Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people. 

Once you received no mercy; now you have received God’s mercy.”

NOW LISTEN ESPECIALLY YOU RELIGIOUS, ORTHODOX AND PENTECOSTAL FOLKS (I urge you respectfully). . .

Your salvation does not lie in any denomination/church, any human dead or alive (no matter their title), neither in any being in whatever realm. This is the starting point of salvation.

John 8:32,36,58

And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.

Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, before Abraham was even born, i am!”

Acts 4:11-12

For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, 

‘The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.’

There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”

1 Timothy 2:5

For, there is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus.

Once this truth has not been established with you, no matter whatever denomination/church or sect you cling to, you have not begun the journey. This is actually the faith that you believe and confess that brings salvation.

Romans 10:8-11

In fact, it says, “The message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart.”And that message is the very message about faith that we preach:

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”

And many are already in this truth. It is not lies everywhere, the truth is still preserved in many folds, and even in individual hearts.

Where do you stand?

Revelation 22:12-14

“Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”

Blessed are those who wash their robes. They will be permitted to enter through the gates of the city and eat the fruit from the tree of life.

Listen the moment a human dies the end has already come for them:

Hebrews 9:27

And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment,

And for us who believe and have gotten it right, the next verse says: 

Hebrews 9:28

so also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him.

So there are yet many on the right path, the question is, are you in the number?

What is the problem today?

People do not seek to know God - Hosea 4:6, they seek to know others things, they seek man and the wealth and riches of the world, they go after sentiments like unbelievers.

Believers study the word, read scriptures and are always in tune with God. They don't just follow the crowd, when they fast they do it with God, same with their prayers and every moment of the day they are never disconnected from the Heavenly Father:

John 14:16-19

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you.

He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.

No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you.

Soon the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Since I live, you also will live.

Some do not understand this simple role of the Holy Spirit neither do they understand the role of the blood, thus, you see people calling on Holy Ghost fire and the blood of Jesus. Ignorance in many places.

Are you in the real or you are with the crowd in ignorance, playing religion or a supposed leader teaching the wrong things and emptiness because of your ignorance, religion or personal gain. REPENT TODAY.

2 Timothy 2:15

Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.

BE PART OF THE REAL THING.
