SATIABLE, WE PRAISE
Psalms 136:26
Give thanks to the God of heaven. His faithful love endures forever.
Psalms 116:12-14
What can I offer the Lord for all he has done for me?
I will lift up the cup of salvation and praise the Lord's name for saving me.
I will keep my promises to the Lord in the presence of all his people.
Could we call man insatiable? Do we just keep asking and asking without giving thanks? I believe it is because man forgets.
How quickly we could forget what the Lord has done for us. We seek for this or that, then the Lord answers and does our request, how long do we celebrate His work before we begin to worry about something else.
We must always remember that it is a privilege to have access to the Heavenly Father?
Psalms 116:1-2
I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy.
Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!
Our creation and our salvation is a great privilege, we should make the most of it.
Psalms 116:3-6
Death wrapped its ropes around me; the terrors of the grave overtook me. I saw only trouble and sorrow.
Then I called on the name of the Lord: “Please, Lord, save me!”
How kind the Lord is! How good he is! So merciful, this God of ours!
The Lord protects those of childlike faith; I was facing death, and he saved me.
Do we still have childlike faith?
Matthew 18:2-4
Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them.
Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.
So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Imagine what it would have been like if His Salvation had not come to us. Many things try to pull us away from this great salvation, will we give in?
The consciousness of so many carnal things could make us forget the eternal and place our mind on that which will pass away. Remember that those things you craved for so many years ago have become tasteless or irrelevant to you today. Wisdom must prevail, the Heavenly wisdom.
Let our soul be at rest!
Psalms 116:7,9
Let my soul be at rest again, for the Lord has been good to me.
And so I walk in the Lord's presence as I live here on earth!
Praise the Lord.
Matthew 11:28-30
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
Things that will make you worry will always arise, however, remember that it is just a mirage, DON'T DWELL FOR LONG ON THE WORRY, our trust is in the One who has control of all things.
So instead of worrying we pray.
Instead of crying, we praise.
Instead of giving up, we study the word (the light)
Psalms 116:17
I will offer you a sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the Lord.
Learn this, teach it to all your children and wards.
Glory to the Mighty God who cares for us. To Him be all the glory, honour and praise forever. Halleluyah.
He calls us blessed.
Love
@the watcher.
