HE CANNOT BE IGNORED

Psalms 67:1-7

May God be merciful and bless us. May his face smile with favor on us.Interlude

May your ways be known throughout the earth, your saving power among people everywhere.

May the nations praise you, O God. Yes, may all the nations praise you.

Let the whole world sing for joy, because you govern the nations with justice and guide the people of the whole world.

May the nations praise you, O God. Yes, may all the nations praise you.

Then the earth will yield its harvests, and God, our God, will richly bless us.

Yes, God will bless us, and people all over the world will fear him.

If you believe the creation story and the creator Himself you will understand that no matter how much the world tries they cannot do without Him. For even before He was revealed to the whole world by His Son, the Heavenly Father was displayed to the world through His people at their time of faithfulness.

2 Chronicles 20:29

When all the surrounding kingdoms heard that the Lord Himself had fought against the enemies of Israel, the fear of God came over them.

Today the Lord is revealed by His church, that is the true believers who walk in obedience. 

However, the same mistake the people of Israel made some are still making today.

Isaiah 30:9

that these people are stubborn rebels who refuse to pay attention to the Lord’s instructions.

Isaiah 65:2

All day long I opened my arms to a rebellious people. 

But they follow their own evil paths and their own crooked schemes.

Jeremiah 5:23

But my people have stubborn and rebellious hearts. 

They have turned away and abandoned me.

We seem not to have learnt from the mistakes of the people of old. We begin with the Lord then not long into the walk it becomes all about self, then the flesh comes in, and we know that the flesh walks contrary to the Spirit.

Galatians 5:16-17

So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.

The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.

So what do we fight against, anything that wants to raise itself above the knowledge of the Heavenly Father. It could even be self.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5

We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.

We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.

See, as a believer you grow, you don't stay stunted at a spot, fighting the same battle, worshipping man or dignitaries, you grow in the knowledge and love of God. Come on!

Yes we will have systems and nations that seem to have ignored God and yet they prosper, we must yet remember that the default creation of man was for him to prosper. However man is not sustained away from the Heavenly Father. Why some of those who seemed to acknowledge God seemed to face challenges is because the enemy attacks those who seek the Lord. In addition there are principles that the Lord Himself have set down that if you follow, you get its good result, it doesn't matter who you are:

Acts 10:34

Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism.

You cannot claim to be of the Lord while practicing laziness and desire to prosper!

You cannot claim to be of the Lord while walking without wisdom and desire to do exploits!

We must understand that there is wisdom and knowledge that is limited only to this world while their is wisdom and knowledge that is divine/eternal. It is in this latter wisdom that the child of God should operate.

For they are restricted to this earthy time alone but we who have believed are insured of this time and assured of eternity. Glory to God.

John 14:1-3

“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.

There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?

When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.

1 Corinthians 15:19

And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world.

Be rest assured that everyone who seemed to have ignored the Lord will yet long after Him, but whether they will be yet hope at the time they submit is where the issue lies.

Revelation 1:7-8

Look! He comes with the clouds of heaven. 

And everyone will see him — even those who pierced him. 

And all the nations of the world will mourn for him. 

Yes! Amen!

“I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.”

You are privileged to know Him now!
