ALWAYS GOOD

Romans 12:17

Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

One thing we cannot avoid as we go on with our journey on earth is our relationship with others. There are relationships we can't choose, while there are those we create ourselves:

We cannot chose:

* who our parents are
* who our siblings are
* who our colleagues are
* who drives adjacent us or who sits close to us in a commercial vehicle.

The list extends. . . There is a limit to how much we can narrow down our choices to have the right people around us. However, we can choose who our friends are, which of our relations to keep close and maybe the neighborhood we stay, yet this still is a function of other things.

Remember those who got betrayed, were actually betrayed by those they have come to trust. Selah!

In all, we cannot but deal with other humans, we need them and they need us too.

However offense will come and that in varying degrees. The Lord expects us not to take it too close to heart, that it becomes difficult to forgive.

Matthew 6:14
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

It is our Heavenly Father's nature to forgive and we His children ought to have that character too.

God expects us to forgive. Thus be careful how you relate with others. You could avoid many hurts. Selah

I told some of our youths years ago, that we already have a lot of battles as a stand-alone person, then why would we add toxic relationships to the list, it is not wise.

Romans 12:18
If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

Thus, don't rush into relationships, be careful when building associations, an Igbo proverbs says that a man who brings in ant infected wood should not complain when lizards flood his house.

Remember that our response should not contradict our nature, and our nature is Good for our God is Good.

The Lord will help us, by His Spirit we would walk in wisdom with all who come our way, that no matter what they display, we will not err.

Help us Good Lord.

He calls us blessed.

Love
