WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST

Romans 1:4-6

and he was shown to be the Son of God when he was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord.
Through Christ, God has given us the privilege and authority as apostles to tell Gentiles everywhere what God has done for them, so that they will believe and obey him, bringing glory to his name.
And you are included among those Gentiles who have been called to belong to Jesus Christ.

The coming of Christ was to bring into the realm of sonship, a great position which man had that made the enemy envious of him.

Psalms 8:4-6
what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them?
Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor.
You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority—

So it looked so foolish for Adam to have allowed all that glory slip from him by falling for a cheap trick of the enemy.

The question is, what are we doing now? What are we giving away? What are we exchanging the new birth the Heavenly Father has brought to us through Christ for?

If only we remember what great a calling we have.

If only we know what a privileged adoption we have.

If only we know how great was the sacrifice.

If only we know the extent of love.

If only we know how much is there to loose or gain.

WE WILL RE-LIVE OUR LIVES!

Hebrews 2:3
How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard [him];

We must always remember who we are in Christ Jesus. We should make the most of it.

For definitely there are a lot of distractions in the world, religions, politics, sects, opinions, philosophies, pleasures, manipulations and sentiments, we must not fall for them.

Hebrews 12:13
Mark out a straight path for your feet so that those who are weak and lame will not fall but become strong.

This year we will appreciate what the Lord has done for us and take full advantage of it. We will NOT fall for the tricks and intimidation of the enemy or the world, we will fulfil our purpose.

1 Peter 2:9
But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

Glory to God.

He calls us blessed.

Remember: God is in control.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out.
