KEEP IT UP
Titus 3:8
[This is] a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
So much about what we should not do, what of what we should keep doing? We should continue doing good works.
For we know some have gone astray, some have taken the grace of God for granted, however, you, yes, you, have remained faithful. Your soul has not desired iniquity, you are filled with God's love and your desire is always to please Him and be a blessing to your generation:
CONTINUE.
Do you know why Christ came, it is NOT for us to continue or be licenced to do wrong as some people wrongly insinuate, NO, listen:
Titus 2:14
He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds.
So where did that brother or sister who continues in sin or hate get their salvation from?
That is why I get irritated with acclaimed ministers who only preach about enemies, how they are coming for you, how you have to pray against this or that, generational curses etc. See your real enemy is the devil and evil spirits, they seek for your soul, that is why your battle is actually for your soul not against a fellow human. May our eyes be opened. Your soul must be placed with the Heavenly Father that is why you must walk in the Spirit.
Hello, when will you talk of the character of the Heavenly Father, the One whose nature you are suppose to have:
Matthew 5:43-45
“You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy.
But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!
In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.
Most times we fight battles that do not exit, the problem with this is that you become blind to the real battle. Yourself!
Do you have the character of the Heavenly Father which is the fruit of the Spirit:
Galatians 5:22-26
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there.
Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.
Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another.
Is this your character? If NO, then you are yet to fight the real battle, the battle for your soul. Selah!
The truth is that most of these category of people do not study the word so they are ignorant, they have no knowledge of the Heavenly Father. Hate fills their heart. So everyone looks like an enemy. Wait, why don't they look like souls that need to be saved. Selah!
1 John 4:7-9
Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.
But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.
The Heavenly Father's nature is good thus His children do good works and nothing less, see the testimony of Jesus:
Acts 10:38
And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.
Doing good!
Let no one deceive you, keep doing good that is your nature. The evil of others or the evil in your environment should not change you, instead:
Matthew 5:16
In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.
So, brethren of good works, you are doing well, don't let anyone discourage you, you are like your Heavenly Father.
So help us Good Lord.
He calls us blessed.
Love
