HIS PROMISE OF HEALTH & PROTECTION

Psalms 91:2-3

This I declare about the Lord:

He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.

For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.

One of the privileges we enjoy as God's own is protection from the devices or traps of the enemy another is protection from deadly diseases.

In Mark 16:18 when Jesus was about to leave the earth physically, He gave us who believe the great mandate and also stated some privileges we will have:

Mark 16:15-18

And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.

Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned.

These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages.

They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”

Some say it ended with the first disciples or after the death of the apostles, I do not agree for in John 17 Christ said:

John 17:20

“I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message.

So the proclamation includes you. Halleluyah

The same way the promises revealed by the prophets of old includes you if you see it in the light of the Word. Who is the Word? Christ. Halleluyah.

Let me bring this to your notice, there are so many deliverances and healings the Lord has done for You over the years that you are not aware of. See, we cannot be too careful, do you know how many poisonous substances we have breathed from our polluted atmosphere?

Do we know the source of all the eatables that go through your mouth?

What of the water we drink or the ones that touch our skin, or particles that enter through our eyes or nose?

What of the intentional and unintentional traps against us by humans controlled by the evil one?

The list is a lot.

It is good to appreciate the Heavenly Father.

Psalms 1:6a

For the Lord watches over the path of the godly

So as we go on this year, let us have these promises in our hearts, it has been given to us.

However, that does not mean we tempt God by living careless lives or taking unnecessary risks.

The Lord has promised:

Hebrews 13:5b

“I will never fail you.

    I will never abandon you.”

Yes, the Lord never fails on His part it is we humans that always break agreements.

Lord, thank You for rescuing me from every trap and all deadly diseases, glory to Your name Dear Father.

He calls us blessed.

Love
