RICH BECAUSE OF CHRIST

Ephesians 1:3

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.

As we count down three days to end this year, it is beautiful to be reminded that we are blessed in Christ Jesus, that is, in all spiritual blessings. (Glory to the Heavenly Father!)

See, every physical blessing is worthless without the backup spiritual blessing, for what is man without his spirit.

Where does all the things that make man fulfilled come from, what is man's essence? It is his spirit, for earthly things cannot lift up man's spirit but spiritual things.

That is why a man might have so much possession yet cannot express joy, while another man will have a little possession but is full of joy. Selah

We cannot underestimate the essence of the creator in the life of man. When His presence is not there, we have a vacuum. This is why so many run after prophets and spiritual diviners for they need guidance and a feel of essence.

*Have you never experienced spiritual blessings and you have physical wealth, go out of your way today, reach out to those who cannot repay you, give to them of your substance, do it in love, then you will have a glimpse of what spiritual blessings are *

Before Christ came to be born on earth, He was with all those who sought after the Heavenly Father and those who chose the path of righteousness.

Jesus said:

John 8:56,58

Your father Abraham rejoiced as he looked forward to my coming. He saw it and was glad.”

Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, before Abraham was even born, i am!”

This statement resulted in an action from the Jews:

John 8:59

At that point they picked up stones to throw at him. But Jesus was hidden from them and left the Temple.

The diety of Christ is not the matter of discussion here, His relationship with the Heavenly Father is also not the discussion here, however know this truth "you cannot separate the Father from the Son!".

John 5:18

So the Jewish leaders tried all the harder to find a way to kill him. For he not only broke the Sabbath, he called God his Father, thereby making himself equal with God.

Now the whole salvation of man rests on the believe in His Son, this believe is not just a feeling but a truth, a lifestyle.

Luke 6:46,49

“So why do you keep calling me ‘Lord, Lord!’ when you don’t do what I say?

But anyone who hears and doesn’t obey is like a person who builds a house without a foundation. When the floods sweep down against that house, it will collapse into a heap of ruins.”

So there are criteria for enjoying this riches, same way there was a criterion for the first man and woman to enjoy the garden of Eden and the full blessing of the earth which God made them to have dominion over.

Have we secured this spiritual blessings or are we pursuing only the earthy blessings?

2 Peter 3:11-13

Since everything around us is going to be destroyed like this, what holy and godly lives you should live, looking forward to the day of God and hurrying it along. On that day, he will set the heavens on fire, and the elements will melt away in the flames.

But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised, a world filled with God’s righteousness.

So as we prepare for the coming year, let us not only plan for the physical riches but also the spiritual riches, are you growing spiritually?

Listen, I mean growing in the knowledge of the Heavenly Father in His Word, the Christ or are you just growing in the knowledge of a person (no matter what title they carry). It is often said that you do not really get to know yourself till you have known the Lord.

Are you reading this and you have not even taken the first step of coming to the Heavenly Father? What are you waiting for?

Romans 10:9-10

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

Have you made the decision of salvation but you are living as if nothing happened, or you worship a man, the enemy is cheating you out of your Heavenly reward:

John 10:10

The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

You must not be cheated out of your heavenly inheritance, arise today and take your place.

2 Corinthians 5:17,21

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.

This is it: you must always be in right standing with the Heavenly Father. This is what the enemy cheated man of from the beginning and it is what he is doing up till today. Be wise.

Help us Good Lord to walk in the spiritual riches you have given us both here and in the time to come. Keep us to live long and fulfilled lives that when we end this time here, You will welcome us home. Thank You Dear Father for Your great love.

He calls us blessed.
