NEVER FORGET WHO YOU ARE

1 Peter 1:23

For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.

The fact that we live in an earthy world, that is of the flesh does not mean we should forget what became of us when we came to the Heavenly Father through the Son. The ignorance of it or the lack of it's consciousness is what gives the enemy room to plant doubts, uncertainty and even sinful thoughts in our mind.

When Jesus was about to finish His earthly ministry here on earth, He prayed:

John 17:15,20

I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one.

“I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. (. . . who will ever . . . Glory to God!)

I always remind people that it is not God's wish for us to just die and leave the scene, NO, He wants us to live our time and fulfil purpose, the same way He had the plan from the beginning before the first set messed up, by listening and submitting to the enemy's antics. 

Remember the whole goal of the enemy is to make you DOUBT (unbelieve) your true victorious identity, that you may fall.

Jesus said:

John 10:10

The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

Knowing this, I must guard my heart from all the antics and fully submit them to Christ Jesus for He is the Heavenly Father revealed. It gets better because He is revealed in us today by His Spirit. Glory to God.

Isaiah 59:21

"As for Me," says the LORD, "this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants," says the LORD, "from this time and forevermore."

Romans 8:14

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

We need to remind ourselves that the only way to be God's child is our believing in His Son and accepting Him as our Lord and Saviour then He lives in us as the Holy Spirit. That was our salvation experience.

John 3:16

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

John 1:12

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name:

Revelation 3:20

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Acts 2:38

Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

So no one, after going through the experience, should allow any being question their citizenship. No.

Ephesians 2:19

So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family.

Many have not been properly taught about what happened to them in the spirit. That was what Jesus was explaining to Nicodemus and he found it too awesome to understand. Everyone called to salvation must have the understanding of what he or she becomes and the fullness of this new identity.

The Holy Spirit dwelling in anyone who is a child of God is an everyday experience, He is available to guide us in all we do and He builds us up daily in the character of God which is:

Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

The Holy Spirit builds our spirit to display these true nature of God. Then He further empowers us with His gifts to excel in our endeavours, edify the church and minister salvation to others.

1 Corinthians 12:7

A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.

So we must understand our identity and it's truth is our victory everyday.

John 8:32

And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Thank You Father for what You did for us in Christ Jesus.
