HOW DO YOU INFLUENCE?
Philippians 4:8
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
Always have in mind that everyone at one time and another needs encouragement, a boost that will keep them moving on and not giving up, it is our part as believers to be that boost.
Romans 15:5
May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus.
Christ built us that way, for I ask what is your essence in this world if you think only of yourself? That is a failure, for God works in us for His good pleasure, and the pleasure is seen in our good to others, remember Mathew 24:31-46.
Philippians 2:13
For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.
Proverbs 15:23
A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, and a word spoken in due season, how good it is!
Everyone has a circle of influence, people who are affected by what you say, do or the decisions you make.
It could be large or small, a family, community, a company, a state, a,nation or just a fellowship, no matter the size it remains our sphere of influence and God expects us to affect the circle positively.
You are there to influence positively.
If
* the souls of these ones are important to you, you will lead them to Jesus the Christ.
* their mind is important you will feed them with the word of God and Godly counsel.
* their future is important to you, you will always tell them the truth and gear them to accomplish more.
* they would call you their mentor, then help them build their career
* they would call you father, give them good advice daily and link them to opportunities that will make them prosper.
* their needs and welfare is important, you will reach out to them no matter how little you can give.
* you love them, you will pray for them.
Philippians 2:4
Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
The right question to ask is:
WHEN MY TIME IS OVER, WHAT WILL I BE REMEMBERED FOR?
Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things.
This should be our prayer daily:
May my actions and words from today make me a blessing to my area of influence.
May you be remembered as a blessing to those around.
It is going to be a lovely week. All praise to our Living God.
He calls us blessed.
Love
@the watcher.
