STAY FOCUSED - CONTINUE IN RIGHTEOUSNESS

1 Timothy 4:16

Keep a close watch on how you live and on your teaching. Stay true to what is right for the sake of your own salvation and the salvation of those who hear you.

You don't sit back and be content to think about it, read about it or even talk about it. You DO IT.

One major key to success is continuity, and it is difficult to practice when there is no focus. So we must create straight paths for ourselves so that we and those who follow us, will not fall.

Hebrews 12:13

Mark out a straight path for your feet so that those who are weak and lame will not fall but become strong.

Listen:

John 8:31

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, [then] are ye my disciples indeed;

Colossians 4:2

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

James 1:25

But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth [therein], he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

We all have different callings, we live in different places and we also work in different places and capacities. There is no place where one is excluded from the heavenly assignment, everyone has a role to play and everyone has been called to service. We shine as lights and cause illumination as ambassadors for Christ.

1 Corinthians 7:24 (message)

Friends, stay where you were called to be. God is there. Hold the high ground with him at your side.

So continuity is key.

Matthew 24:45-46

“A faithful, sensible servant is one to whom the master can give the responsibility of managing his other household servants and feeding them.

If the master returns and finds that the servant has done a good job, there will be a reward.

One key policy of the kingdom is continuity, being faithful to the end. Selah

As we draw closer to the end of another year, let us prepare to be relevant to the kingdom again and again. See, there are a lot of things that cluster with the message of salvation, just like the owner of the garden said that the wheat should grow with the tares, Christ has allowed all to grow, but remember that eventually there will be a harvest and then the wheat will be separated from the tares. Wheat accepted as good harvest but the tares are for burning.

So don't get infected or contaminated with the poison of the tares, know who you are, your salvation is personal, your relationship is with the Heavenly Father through Christ Jesus, first and foremost before anything or anyone matters.

Do you remember that even Christ said He will not intercede for you - so it is foolishness to still be locked in the myth of angels, dead people or whatever being to pray for you (a great bondage indeed), listen to Jesus Himself:

John 16:25-27

“I have spoken of these matters in figures of speech, but soon I will stop speaking figuratively and will tell you plainly all about the Father.

Then you will ask in my name. I’m not saying I will ask the Father on your behalf,

for the Father himself loves you dearly because you love me and believe that I came from God.

My prayer is that we will not spend so much energy on activities, religion, practices and men's doctrine, but be purposeful and faithful in true kingdom living and business. So help us Good Lord.

People say why only through Jesus:

1 Timothy 2:5

For,There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus.

If you are not on the right path, the time to begin is today.

Not just talking, thinking or praying about it, LET US DO IT.

It affects every area of our life and unlike those who have not believed we have insurance/assurance both in this life and in the one to come. Glory to God.

If we have been doing it, let us CONTINUE!

May the Lord always be pleased with us.

He calls us blessed.

Love
