IT IS GOOD TO BE GOOD

1 Timothy 4:8-11

“Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.”

This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it.

This is why we work hard and continue to struggle, for our hope is in the living God, who is the Savior of all people and particularly of all believers.

Teach these things and insist that everyone learn them.

To live the life that is pleasing to God is not foolishness but actually wisdom, reading through the book of Proverbs you find this demarcation. All scriptures actually make this demarcation.

When Christ came He also talked of this demarcation:

Matthew 25:31-33

“But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne.

All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.

In this demarcation, there are only two parts - "the good" and "the evil". You fall into one of the category. Here we have to be careful for trying to be in between is actually worse:

Revelation 3:15-16

“I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other!

But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!

Have we ever wondered what the enemy wants from us, why all the temptations from him and also from our flesh - what is the essence?

John 10:10

The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

Well, does the thief steal from someone who has nothing? Most killings are as a result of envy and the third: the satisfaction of one who destroys is in the destruction of something worthful.

So, hello human - 

* You have something, you are great;

* You are worthwhile that is why you are envied;

* You possess greatness.

Psalms 139:13-24(Message bible)

Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother's womb.

I thank you, High God - you're breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration - what a creation!

Take an example of Joseph, greatness was with him as he made his journey through life, then temptations and persecutions came from all angles, same with Daniel and others recorded in scriptures.

Listen, their story is written for us to learn from: many had the same path, but were truncated because they fell under the pressure of temptations and persecutions, so their story is not here, for they did not get there. Selah

So dear one, it is good to remain good. Those who watch out for your err, really may have no goodness in them. Remember that the accuser is the enemy himself, it is foolishness for you believer to take up his role. However, it should NOT bother you, let them keep monitoring you to find faults, you focus on doing good, please the Heavenly Father, you will gain here and in the life to come. Glory to God.

So, know that many will envy, it is not a function of whether they have or not, it is a function of their low mind and lack of wisdom. Stay focused, you will win at the end, for the Lord is the one who has you covered. Psalm 91.

Stay Good, that is the nature of the Spirit of God in you, that is your nature.
