IN GOD WE TRUST

Philippians 4:6

Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Prayer is the only way to bring one's request to God, it has existed so long, yet it still remains.

There was a time I used to wonder how God handles all things and how many of us praying at the same time would all be able to get God's attention.

How does He take care of all the issues in this world and also those things in heaven. These were childish thoughts.

The prophet records God's words:

Isaiah 55:8&9

For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

God is indeed great, the mind of man is too small to comprehend the mystery of God, His power, His might, His glory, His splendour, majesty, strength . . . no wonder none have seen Him except the Son. Even Moses was only able to see a reflection of Him.

Isaiah 40:22

[It is] he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof [are] as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

Isaiah 40:26

Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these [things], that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that [he is] strong in power; not one faileth.

Isaiah 37:16

O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest [between] the cherubims, thou [art] the God, [even] thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.

The greatness and awesomeness of God cannot be described by words.

The power of His might is inexhaustible, can we talk of the angels he made, the assignments they hold, they are awesome to imagine, overwhelming and majestic to behold.

Revelations 7:1

And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

No problem, no challenge, no difficulty can come close to the power of the God we serve. Nothing is big enough to move our God.

He said:

Jeremiah 32:27

“I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?

Therefore:

Philippians 4:4

Rejoice in the Lord alway: [and] again I say, Rejoice.

Because whatever it is, it will have to answer to our God. So I need not worry. My God is greater than all problems I will ever face.

Give God praise more than those issues. Worry not, you serve the Big God. Don't dwell on how big the issues are but on how great Your God is, it is easier to say than to do, but it is wisdom. Let your testimonies be the judge.

Instead of dwelling on those negativities, know your God!
