HE WILL YET DO IT
Matthew 21:22
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Some will say I asked for this or that and I did not receive. Some will say, this does not apply to me, however when you look closer and think deeper, you will see your testimonies.
When we pray a lot of activities take place, we need to remember that we pray to change things. We must understand that when we change a part, the other part is automatically affected.
Take a simple example, two people living in the same house, going on the same path and working in the same place, when they make varying prayers, the first asks for rain while the next asks for sunshine. Which one will you bring to pass?
Ephesians 3:20
Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
However, the Almighty knows how to take care of our requests, see He has been in this business for uncountable centuries, even before then He had been calling things to pass. So not to worry, just make the requests. If you are wise make it according to His will.
Take the case of the sons of Zebedee:
Matthew 20:20 & 21
Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping [him], and desiring a certain thing of him.
And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
Well we may all attack her as selfish, infact, the other disciples where not happy with them.
It is an illustration of requests that affect other things or other people.
As we enter this new week starting with fellowshipping with others, let us be assured in faith that our prayers are answered, delays are not always what it seems, it works for our good.
Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.
So does any delay or expectation want to take away your joy, and make you not able to join in thanksgiving? Do not give it room, because the Lord heard you, the delay would be for your good.
God would work it out. He keeps all things balanced, the way He keeps the universe balanced.
Rejoice brethren.
He calls us blessed.
Love
