BE THANKFUL

Isaiah 12:4-5

In that wonderful day you will sing: 

“Thank the Lord! Praise his name! 

Tell the nations what he has done. Let them know how mighty he is!

Sing to the Lord, for he has done wonderful things. Make known his praise around the world.


Psalm 118:23

This is the LORD'S doing; it [is] marvellous in our eyes.


We are humans and we always have needs, this is why we ask, for we trust that we will receive, if I have no faith of receiving, why bother asking in the first place?


However, we may say that there are times we have asked but not received. The emphatic part of not receiving according to scriptures is asking amiss.


Today, we look at another part: ungratefulness! For there are so many things we received but never asked for. Listen to Jesus:


Matthew 6:32

These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.


The Heavenly Father already knows that we have need of them! Glory. So He takes care of them. Halleluyah


We are not allowed to be ungrateful for we humans tend to forget the answered prayers and tend to dwell on the one we think is not answered or the reply is not what we were expecting.


Don't forget when:


* we asked and we received


* we cried out in pains and He healed us


* we faced trouble and He took as out of it


* our family had issues and He stepped in and took control.


* we lacked and He miraculously supplied.


* we feared death, but He has kept us.


* we sinned and He forgave us again and again.


* we where not that faithful, yet He was there for us.


The list goes on:


We cannot allow the present challenges make us forget our victories. We have the victory, "yester-wins" is an assurance of "today-wins".


That challenge would have to face your BIG God . . . it has no choice than to crumble.


Joshua 4:24

"that all the peoples of the earth may know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty, that you may fear the LORD your God forever."


1Peter 5:6

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,


Our God is mighty, if you are His, then victory is assured. No matter what it is you are faced with today.


It is well.


Rejoice, sing with melody in you heart. Be thankful for you have a BIG God.


In all, He calls us blessed.

Remember: God is in control.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out. Please don't give up, God is still in control Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
