WHEN YOU ARE THE TEACHER

Hebrews 5:12

For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.

We meet situations we have no control over, time and time again.

*Daniel found himself in a strange land with so much expected from him.

*Joseph found himself in a palace with so much to account for.

*David found himself in the war zone with a giant soldier threatening his people

*Lot found himself in a community full of unrepentant sinners whose atrocities knew no boundary

*Solomon found himself as king, when he ought to have been a rejected child

"The situations are not always our making, however, we can re-write the scripts"

Instead of watching the scene as a spectator we could actually write the script by being "the teacher".

Titus 2:7
In all things see that you are an example of good works; holy in your teaching, serious in behaviour.

This instruction was actually given to godly women.

No one is left out!

Psalm 37:6
And he will make your righteousness be seen like the light, and your cause like the shining of the sun.

It is not old school or old fashioned to do the right things. It is a norm.

We cannot only speak it, we must live it. We should not always expect it, we should be it.

Matthew 5:16
Even so let your light be shining before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.

Proverbs 6:23
For the rule is a light, and the teaching a shining light; and the guiding words of training are the way of life.

I see believers who are the perfect examples to the world around them. In little and big things.

Numbers 6:25
May the light of the Lord's face be shining on you in grace.

We would be perfect examples, the Lord would be happy with us.

1Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

We would not get tired, and if we have erred, Grace to begin again is here!

So we pray, we worship, we study the word. We must not fail in this!

Colossians 3:16&17
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Don't be afraid to be the teacher, it is a privilege, it is expected of you!

Today will be another good day.

He calls us blessed.

Love
@the watcher.
