VICTORY IN THE STRANGE PLACE
1 Kings 20:23-24,28-29
After their defeat, Ben-hadad’s officers said to him, “The Israelite gods are gods of the hills; that is why they won. But we can beat them easily on the plains.
Only this time replace the kings with field commanders!
Then the man of God went to the king of Israel and said, “This is what the Lord says: The Arameans have said, ‘The lord is a god of the hills and not of the plains.’ So I will defeat this vast army for you. Then you will know that I am the Lord.”
The two armies camped opposite each other for seven days, and on the seventh day the battle began. The Israelites killed 100,000 Aramean foot soldiers in one day.
When a powerful eagle exposes itself to the land below some begin to think it is in its place. They foolishly take it is as common forgetting that the eagle still has its place at the high grounds. The prey who take it for granted regret because anything it lifts either goes as a friend with it to greater heights or is dropped below to crash.
For those who understand!
One awesome personality of our Heavenly Father is His omnipresence and omnipotence. Thus He is not restrained or restricted in boundary, His authority and power is everywhere. Yes the Lord loves order and is just, yet He is unlimited.
So the victory He gives you in the east, He can also give you in the north, west or south. He is everywhere.
It is religion that try to limit God to a place, a language, law, sacraments, race or anything carnal. No, He said:
Jeremiah 32:27
“I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?
He has put all these authority under Christ Jesus:
Ephesians 1:19-21
I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power
that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.
Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come.
So no matter where you are, the power of the Heavenly Father covers you.
His power stretches all over the earth and gives His own victory. So walk in this truth, live in this victory. Stay away from sin, don't be afraid. Remember that Esther and Mordecai were in a strange land yet they conquered. So was Abraham, Jacob, Joseph and even Daniel.
Romans 8:37-39
No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.
No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Glory to God.
He calls us blessed.
Love
