Make the right exchange

Isaiah 40:31

But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

Many have traded their joy chasing over material things and the pleasures and satisfaction of the world.

The question is "is it worth it?".

Yes we must earn, work and keep improving day after day but we must remember "nothing is free".

We must pay a price.

So, what are we ready to sacrifice?

Some have sacrificed, their:

* health
* peace of mind
* children
* marriage
* calling
* ministry
* good name

All in the bid to get material things.

2Timothy 4:10
for Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and has departed for Thessalonica-- Crescens for Galatia, Titus for Dalmatia.

There is always a process, we would get into trouble when we try to use the shortcut, to get it by all means and immediately.

Let us be careful of what exchange we make!

Let us ask like Jesus:

Mark 8:37
"Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul

This is why we have false teachers, wicked leaders, law breakers, abominable(s) and unfaithful followers.

But we are not so, we are:

Psalm 1:3
like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

Yes, that is who we are!

We cannot be otherwise, we would not get carried away!

The Lord has blessed us richly.

Have you talked with the Father today? Please Do.

He calls us blessed.

Love
