LOOK AHEAD, VICTORY IS SURE

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Proverbs 16:9

A man's heart plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps.

The most important starting point is to discover your pathway with God, then the continuity is to allow the Holy Spirit lead you all the way.

Then what is expected is:

1Thessalonians 4:11-12
that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you,
 that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing.

For we must remember that man was created for earth, yes, for before earth was corrupted because of sin, earth was good, an extension of God's territory. Thus scriptures exclaims:

Psalms 24:1
The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.
The world and all its people belong to him.

Paul also proclaimed:

1 Corinthians 10:26
For “the earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.”

So never for a moment think that the Lord is not interested in our life here, He is, and His thoughts is for us to prosper both in our earthly living now and when He makes all things new.

So,

Begin today. . . The road to success is not a smooth highway, learn when to slow down, speed up and even when to park and rest awhile, but in all, *keep progressing having the destination in mind.

We should remember that our greatness is tied to tough decisions we have to make.  Let go of the guilt from the mistakes of the past, don't repeat them, move ahead, for the Lord says:

Lamentations 3:22-23
The faithful love of the lord never ends! His mercies never cease.
Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.

Challenges surely would come, but keep your mind focused on the goal. The footballer with the ball all the way from the midfield would surely meet defenders and other midfielders as he journeys towards the goalpost. He must fix his mind on the goal if he must score. Even if he dosen't score the first try, he should keep trying using different tactics and methods, he should surely score and by favour again and again.

Proverbs 24:10
If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.

Go on, it may look enormous at the start but as you take it part by part you will surmount them.

The Lord has given you what it takes, many who do not have what you have, played well and scored, what is your excuse? It is in your mind. Believe and move ahead. Victory is sure.

I see us ending the year accomplished.

So help us Good Lord.

He calls us blessed.

Remember: God is in control.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out. Please don't give up, God is still in control Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. My dear it is not about how you feel, and not about what it seems, it is about what He Has promised and He who promised is sure to keep His Word.
