FEELING UNWORTHY
Romans 8:33-34
Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself.
Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.
There is a purpose for us as believers, as we live our normal lives as humans, we must remember that we are not ordinary. What makes us special is our family ties with the Heavenly Father:
John 1:12-13
But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.
We become chosen thus we are special having a purpose that brings our Heavenly Father joy.
1 Peter 2:9
But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.
Knowing this the trump card of the enemy is to make us feel unworthy so that we will not fulfil purpose!
Now, we must be careful, for we could feel so confident and just go on with a life of sin, then finally become reprobate. No, we have discipline, not all things are permissible.
However, even if we err as we learnt few days ago, we should always "RETURN HOME".
I used to tell Daddy, if I am to be blessed, let it be You; if I am to be chastised, let it be You also. I must not be at the mercy of anyone else, for I do not have any other alligence neither an alternative.
So scriptures says:
1 John 3:20
Even if we feel guilty, God is greater than our feelings, and he knows everything.
God's love is so great, why should anyone look anywhere else:
Romans 8:32-33
Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?
Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself.
Glory to God.
Stay with Him.
We will finish well, we will have a good testimony, our Heavenly Father will welcome us home in Christ Jesus.
He calls us blessed.
Love
