DO YOU HEAR?

1Kings 17:2

Then the word of the LORD came to him, saying,

A lot of things we work with in this world come from various sources and experiences. The need to make money is because we need to secure our continual provision: food, clothing, shelter, education, health, pleasure etc.

A lot of other things come into play:

* News Report:

* Pressure from family, friends and colleagues

* Fear of the future

* Sudden news from home

* Change of Government Policy

etc . . .

There is no end to what we hear, there will always be the "News".

1Kings 17:8

Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying,

John 6:68

Then Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.

When the word of the Lord comes, every other News is secondary. All mouths are shut, protocols are removed. It just happens!

I am not talking of empty promises or steering motivational speeches to make us drop money or feel happy. No! 

There is a lot of noise in our world today, but our station must be tuned to the right channel. We must receive God's frequency "His Son" through "His Spirit"

Hebrews 1:2

has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;

John 14:17

 "even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

Romans 4:17b

in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

Nothing like hearing from God be it through:

* prayers

* His word

* worship

* His ministers

* in your spirit

* the unexpected little ones

If we are confident and hold on to what He says, all other "says" will not matter. He is the God that overrules!

Have we been listening to God?

As we enter the new week, let us revive our listening ear.

As we fellowship with others, may we get our rhema.

If we know the extent of what the Heavenly Father did for us through Christ Jesus, we would not be fooling around with religion, we will accept His salvation and enjoy true fellowship with the Father. For He did not leave His glory for nothing, He left it for love, that we may have life, and become family.

John 17:5 

And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

2Corinthians 5:18 

And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

To what and Whom have you been listening to?

Study the Word and Listen to the Spirit. Help us Good Lord.
