CAN YOU REACH OUT?
2 Corinthians 8:2
They are being tested by many troubles, and they are very poor. But they are also filled with abundant joy, which has overflowed in rich generosity.
2 Corinthians 9:8-9
And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.
As the Scriptures say, “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.”
It is easy to reach out when all is well with you. It may not be difficult from a multitude of wealth to give a little (though some still find it hard to give).
However the true test of giving is when you give out of little.
I remember the event in scriptures when many gave, yet Jesus recognized only the widow who gave so little but it was all she had.
Mark 12:42-44
Then one poor widow came and threw in two mites, which make a quadrans.
So He called His disciples to Him and said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury;
"for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood."
I have come to understand that there is no human who has nothing to offer. No human comes empty!
No matter your situation, you are a solution to someone, just the same way someone else is a solution to you.
We ought to see ourselves as the solution not a problem.
Acts 20:35
"I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' "
Stop being the one reached out to all the time, reach out to others! Hello, the man with one talent was expected to also profit as the one with two and the one with five. Selah
Matthew 5:14
"You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Matthew 5:13
"You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.
YOU HAVE SOMETHING GOOD TO OFFER.
This is our prayer:
Father thank you because I am the answer to someone's prayer.
He calls us blessed.
