THE WONDERFUL HAND OF GOD
Genesis 37:9, 18-20
Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, "Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me."
When Joseph’s brothers saw him coming, they recognized him in the distance. As he approached, they made plans to kill him.
“Here comes the dreamer!” they said.
“Come on, let’s kill him and throw him into one of these cisterns. We can tell our father, ‘A wild animal has eaten him.’ Then we’ll see what becomes of his dreams!”
Genesis 42:6
Now Joseph was governor over the land; and it was he who sold to all the people of the land. And Joseph's brothers came and bowed down before him with their faces to the earth.
There is nothing like being led by God. It always begins with a vision. The Lord shows us where He wants us to go and it is always overwhelming.
Habakkuk 2:3
For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
A lot of distractions and delays may come along, but surely God will do what He promised. No one can stop Him.
The distance is always TIME!
A good example for us is Joseph as recorded in Genesis 37 to 45, he saw the vision at a tender age, then it seemed as if trouble started, but it was all a journey of preparation to where the Lord was taking Him. Be reminded that all scriptures teaches of Christ, his rejection by his brothers is the same way the Jews rejected Christ Jesus yet eventually they would bow to Him.
Just as they thought Joseph was dead, yet they came to bow themselves to him that they may live, so also every knee shall bow to Jesus the Christ, whether they believe now or not, for:
Philippians 2:9-11
Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Just as scriptures say:
2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
Joseph teaches us to:
* remain disciplined;
* stay focused;
* keep working;
* be diligent;
* stay in prayer;
* be ready to forgive;
* be prepared;
* take opportunities;
* show love;
* be watchful to avoid temptation;
* remain steadfast, etc.
He and many of our elders of old stand as good examples of God's faithfulness.
After all the waiting, God shows His hand and no power nor king can stop Him from placing us where we ought to be.
You are not out of His list, because you have chosen to walk with Him. He has also sealed all that believe in Him with His Spirit. Know this, victory is yours! Halleluyah
As we continue through the remaining half of this year, be rest assured that the Heavenly Father is coming through for You. His mighty hand will do that which seemed to have delayed, yes, He will bring it to pass. All that plotted against you, mocked you or had no faith in you, will be embarrassed for the Lord will bring to pass that which He has promised.
Glory to God.
He calls us blessed.
Love
