HE HAS GIVEN US VICTORY

1Corinthians 15:57

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

We cannot over-emphasize the role of the soul of man, for from the beginning the battle has always been for the soul of man. The soul of man although belonging to God was ours because God made us in His image we had the right of choice.

Who really is in control?

Remember how it all started. Genesis 1 - 3.

Just like we have the right to do anything we want to do in our birth country. However, when you offend you face judgement either to imprisonment, death or both and sometimes you pay a fine.

The sin of the first man sentenced all from his loins to death.

Romans 3:23

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Romans 6:23

 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God who loved us so much sent redemption to us by coming in human form, His body, Jesus the Christ to pay our fine and receive our sentence of death. He suffered, died and then arose setting us free. Thus, giving us victory over sin and death.

Colossians 2:9

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;

Romans 5:15

But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man's offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.

For if you have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you have victory, you have overcome the world and this is by Faith.

1John 5:5

Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

1John 5:4

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith.

This victory is total, it has conquered

* sickness

* sin

* poverty

* death

* fear

* hell

* condemnation

We enjoy full access and fellowship with God.

So let us rejoice in that victory which we have in Jesus the Christ who lives forevermore.

Worries would come but instead of dwelling on them, let us dwell in our victory.

Jesus said:

Luke 12:25

Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?

The answer is NO. So, let us bask in the victory He has given us. We are victorious. Glory to God.

He calls us blessed.

Love
