THE TRUE FRIEND

Psalms 146:5

But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the Lord their God.

A friend, do people still know the meaning of the word?

I know what it means to feel alone. When you turn here and there and it feels there is no one to lean on. When you feel there is no one to discuss that issue with. Really it is not wise to put your trust in man. Many do not want to be betrayed again. Why go through the hurt . . .but . . .

Proverbs 20:6

Most men will proclaim each his own goodness, but who can find a faithful man?

Man was not created to be alone.

God still says so, not just about a wife or a husband, but having someone you can lean on and who also looks up to you.

Many fear to lean on others because of the betrayal of trust and unfaithfulness from people they have leaned on. However, we have a faithful friend in Christ Jesus, thus as His friend we can be real friends to others.

The mind of God still surpasses our fears and doubt.

No matter what happens, God expects us to remain faithful, to be that good neighbour and that faithful friend.

Those always praying for destiny helpers, I believe your prayer point should change, it should be: Lord make me a destiny helper to others. Selah

Psalms 146:3

Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there.

Remember that though the whole world fail, you are already a winner in Jesus the Christ. Who won the victory. He won the victory for you and all who believe, be that channel to link others.

As believers we know that offences would come but we should never be the source.

Matthew 18:7

"Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!

Be that faithful one, you are never alone, God always has His selected few, who are always faithful.

Elijah told God that He was the only one left but God answered Him

1Kings 19:14

So he said, "I have been very zealous for the LORD God of hosts; because the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. I alone am left; and they seek to take my life."

1Kings 19:18

"Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him."

God sees you and He will always be faithful to you. Never loose guard, don't give in to fears and worries, the One who got you is the maker of heaven and earth.

2Thessalonians 3:13

But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.

Galatians 6:9-10

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

We are never alone, for He said

Hebrews 13:5

Let your conduct be without covetousness, and be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

Are you my friend?

Are you a good friend?

Do you keep your promise?

No matter what happens, let's remember - God is our best friend!

Psalms 146:6

He made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He keeps every promise forever.

He calls us blessed.

Love
